The Department of Instructional Technology is pleased to announce a training opportunity, Promethean Board Open House. This is a great opportunity to stop by the new labs at Walkersville B, get some basic instruction on how to set-up and use the board, and have time to practice.

This informal session which will provide instruction for the first 20 minutes of each hour and allow participants to practice using the board for the remainder of the hour. Leave any time after the 20 minutes of instruction. This is an open house to help you feel comfortable using the Promethean board as you use the Walkersville B labs for classes and trainings.

Date: Tuesday, March 20th, 2012

Times: One-hour sessions consisting of 20 minutes of instruction at the beginning and the last 40 minutes is optional practice time. You can stay and practice for as little or as long as you would like. Sessions start at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.

Location: FCPS Staff Development Center (Walk B) – Lab #2. 44 W. Frederick Street, Walkersville, MD 21793

Attendees: This training is geared for curriculum specialists, teacher specialists, professional development specialists, and individuals that will hold trainings and professional development in the Staff Development Center computer labs.

The deadline to submit your registration is 4 PM on Monday, March 12th. A confirmation email will be sent to registrants by the afternoon of Tuesday, March 13th.
