This year marks my 20th year of teaching first grade in the Thurmont community. For 11 years I taught at Thurmont Elementary School. During that time I also taught the Reading Recovery Program. I then moved to Thurmont Primary School upon its opening in 2001. I am a native of Frederick County, Maryland and currently reside in Walkersville. I am an active member of my church where I teach Children's Church. My daughter and grandson are the light of my life. We enjoy spending time at the beach. I am a graduate of Hood College with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
It is a privilege to work with the excellent administration and staff at TPS where we continuously received the generous support of parents and community. I look forward to another year of growing together to build a children's heart power, brain power, and body power.
