Mrs. Anne Marie Crosby
Hello, my name is Anne Marie Crosby, and I'm a kindergarten teacher at Urbana Elementary.
I taught first grade for 6 years and then moved to kindergarten where I have been teaching for the past seventeen years. Responsibilities that I have held include team leader, mentor teacher, and targeted math intervention. I was named to Who's Who in American Education in 2006.
I believe all children want to learn and are eager to discover new things about their world. I enjoy guiding young children in their discoveries and teaching them new strategies to help them understand and build their knowledge of the world.
My education includes a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a M.A. in Elementary Math and Science from Hood College.
I can be contacted by phone, handwritten notes or by email. Please send notes to school in your child's blue communication folder.
I was born in Maryland and am married to Norman D. Crosby Jr. We are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters. I enjoy reading, gardening and spending time with my family.
