Hello!  My name is Jennifer Schmidt and this is my second year teaching at UES.  I am here at Urbana four days a week.  On Tuesdays, I teach at Middletown Primary School.  I am originally from the Pittsburgh area.  I moved to Frederick County after I graduated from college.  I attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

I believe that Physical Education is a class  where students can learn different things that they can use everyday for the rest of their lives.  In saying that, at Urbana we like to cover a variety of topics and skills.  Ranging from traditional team sports to health and nutrition.  We try to make Phys. Ed. a class that every student can come in feel comfortable and enjoy.

I myself enjoy staying active and watching sports.  Also, being that I am from Pittsburhg, I am a huge Steeler fan.
