In 1997 I graduated with a Psychology Degree from Mount Saint Mary's College.  Following graduation  I taught at Olney Preporatory School in Olney, MD for 8 years teaching both primary and upper elementary grades.   In 2005, I earned my Masters in Education from John's Hopkins University.  After welcoming two beautiful boys, Liam and Hayden, I returned to the profession and joined the wonderful staff at Urbana Elementary School. Currently I am teaching 5th Grade.

In my free time I enjoy offshore fishing with my husband.  I also enjoy participating in female angler fishing tournaments.  This year I am looking forward to obtaining my goal and running in a few marathons.

Teaching children is my passion and I believe learning should be a fun and exciting journey.
