I am happy to be back at UES for my 20th year of teaching 5th grade in the FCPS Gifted and Talented Magnet Program. It has been a wonderful summer working in the Great Heron Wetlands,fossil hunting and spending time with family in Cape May, NJ. This is my 30th year of teaching and I still love my job.  I believe that all children can learn and achieve if they are challenged.  I received my B.S. and Masters degrees from WVU. I have taught grades 4 through 8.as well as 3rd year juniors in Nottingham England through the Fulbright Exchange program.  I am looking forward to the 2009-2010 school year working with our wonderful young people.
