Opening a Folder of Pixie 2 Pictures
One of the most requested features for Pixie 3 is to allow students to create multiple pictures and save in one file. Now that this has become a reality, how do you open up all your old Pixie 2 pictures and put them into one project file to export as a movie or play as a slide show? Maybe you want each student to make one picture to be imported for a slide show or movie?
First, click the Project Button and select Import Pages.
The Import Pages window will open.
Then, click the “+” sign near the bottom left part of the window. Click BROWSE on the window that pops up. Browse to the folder where you have all the Pixie 2 files / pictures saved. Click on the folder, but don’t open it.
The folder location will be inserted into the PATH box and Pixie 3 will remember this location. The folder name will appear in the left column on the Import Pages window.
Click OK. Your Pixie images will show on the right and the folder name is “remembered” on the left. Click IMPORT to insert the images into your Pixie 3 project.
You will now be asked what pictures to import.
· If you know you want all the pictures, click IMPORT to import all pictures.
· If you want to pick and choose your pictures, click UNSELECT ALL and hold the CTRL key down as you click the pictures you want. You can even select pictures from within a Pixie 3 project file.
When all pictures are selected, click IMPORT.
