Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friend

If you are using a website that requires you to type in information (such as a math drill and practice game), how do you do this at the Promethean board?  The answer is to use "desktop tools" and utilize the on-screen keyboard.  Here is how you can do this:

1. Make sure your website is already launched in your Internet browser.

2. Bring up ActivInspire. On the toolbar click the "desktop tools" icon.

3.  You will see the flipchart disappear and the website will appear with a small icon showing the desktop tools available.  Hover your mouse over the icon to reveal the tools you can use with the desktop applications.  Click the "on-screen keyboard" icon to bring up your keyboard.

4. When you are finished and want to return to the flipchart, click the flipchart icon from your desktop tools.
